Brief Introduction:
In conventional DNA electrophoresis analysis, Ethidium Bromide (EB) is usually used for staining. Since EB is a carcinogen with strong toxicity, new harmless DNA dyes have been used.
LUV-450 Blue Light Transilluminator is applicable for fluorescent dyes for nucleic acid or protein stains with excitation wavelengths around 470nm.
Example compatible stains include: SYBR Green, GelGreen, SYBR Safe, SYBR Gold or SYPRO Ruby and GFP stains. LUV-450 Blue Light Transilluminators keep you away from the harm of UV and EB!
